Natelli Communities has won numerous development and homebuilding awards for its enduring commitment to excellence. Among their honors are the prestigious National Award of Excellence in 1997 for Avenel, given by the Urban Land Institute for the finest-planned community in the country; Environmental Builder of the Year 2000 and Best Community in Montgomery County 2001, awarded by the Maryland-National Capital Building Industry Association (MNCBIA) for the development of Lakelands; and Best Community in Frederick County 2001, awarded by the MNCBIA for the development of Villages of Urbana.
